New Recipe from Hana Kim:

Hamburger Surprise

This recipe is sure to bring you back to mama’s hamburger helper, but this takes it to the next level. Its easy, quick, and hard to mess up!  Don’t be scared of the ketchup - it adds depth and a slight kick.

Annie’s Mac and Cheese - White Cheddar and Shells
1 lb ground turkey
1 onion chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 jalepeno finely chopped
3/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup worcheshire sauce
2 T tomato paste
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup parmesan
1/4 cup milk

In a large pot, brown the ground turkey in medium high heat and drain the excess fat. Add onions, garlic, and jalapeno - cook until onions are translucent. Add the tomato paste and mix well to incorporate through the meat mixture. Add the white wine and worcheshire sauce - simmer for about 15 minutes. Add the ketchup and cook in low heat. In the meantime, cook the shells - not the cheese sauce -according to the package instructions. Drain shells in a colander and leave there for now. In the same pot, whisk 1/4 cup milk and powdered cheese sauce until there are no lumps. Bring to low boil while continuously whisking and once the mixture begins to thicken - 5 minutes - add the parmesan cheese and turn off heat. Add the pasta to the cheese sauce and mix well. Add the cheesy pasta to the meat mixture and cook for 5 minutes until well mixed and hot. Enjoy!!
